The Position:
AMEWAS is seeking a highly motivated and talented Administrative Assistant (N94)-Journeyman to support Advanced Aircraft Research Development Test & Evaluation. The salary range of this position is $70000.00 - $90000.00 and is commensurate with experience. This position is not eligible for remote work; on-site support is required.

The Digital Analytics Infrastructure and Technology Advancement (DAiTA) Group is at the cutting edge of Advanced Aircraft Research Development Test and Evaluation (AARDT&E). Our state-of-the-art laboratories are equipped to work seamlessly together enabling comprehensive testing and evaluation of aircraft and weapons systems across the Department of Defense. What sets the DAiTA Group apart is our exceptional ability to mitigate program risks by crafting intricate battlespace environments where cutting-edge concepts advanced hardware and skilled warfighters can dive into the missions of both today and the future. The Integrated Battlespace Simulation and Test (IBST) Department is at the heart of this innovative ecosystem. This team is the driving force behind the research development management design documentation fabrication installation integration testing evaluation operation and maintenance of the Air Combat Environment Test Facility (ACETEF) and other DAiTA AARDT&E capabilities laboratories and facilities. With IBST at the helm were not just preparing for the future but shaping it.
A typical day as an Administrative Assistant (N94)-Journeyman may include:
- Assists the Administrative Officer with daily operations of the front office
- Provides comprehensive administrative support to the Department of the Navy Test and Evaluation Executive/Director of Navy Innovation Technology Requirements and Test/Evaluation (OPNAV N94)
- Manages travel authorizations and vouchers
- Acts as a liaison for personnel awards schedules and provides visitor support
- Ensures efficient office operations
- Coordinates/Tracks internal and external taskers using various software tools
- Monitors responses facilitates services and ensures timely communication of information
- Collaborates with various branches to efficiently meet their travel requirements
- Acts as a liaison between branch heads the DASN RDT&E and N9 Front Offices
- Submits monitors tracks and receives personnel awards/decorations in a timely manner
- Serves as an alternate scheduler for the Senior Executive
- Manages coordinates and facilitates the Senior Executives schedule/calendar
- Serves as the primary point of contact for conference room calendar reservations
Must-haves:
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- 4 years of relevant work experience
- Experience in administrative support roles
- Proficiency in using task management software
- Experience using office productivity tools
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
- Strong understanding of travel budgeting and coordination
- Experience in managing schedules and calendars for Senior Executives
- Experience using MS Office
- Minimum clearance required to apply (candidates who do not currently hold the required clearance will not be considered): N/A
- Additional Accesses: The ability to obtain and maintain the DoD security clearance eligibility and/or additional security access requirements necessary to perform the duties of the position as required by the contract
Desired Skills:
- Familiarity with processes for handling personnel awards/decorations
- Familiarity with the Pentagon

Physical Environment and Working Conditions:
The physical environment for this position requires the employee to work in an office sitting in a cubicle or at a desk looking at a computer for most of the workday. Work is physically comfortable. The employee has discretion about sitting walking standing etc.
The employee may be required to travel short distances to offices/conference rooms and buildings on site or near the work site. On rare occasions overnight travel may be required.
