Job Summary
McCormick & Company Inc. a global leader in the spice flavor and seasonings industry is seeking a full-time Administrative Assistant in our Finance - Americas group. This new hire will work at ourGlobal Headquarters located in Hunt Valley MD.
The Administrative Assistant will report to a VP Finance - America.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the CFO Americas and her team.
- Manage calendars and business activities including scheduling meetings arranging meeting rooms and required set-up to support business objectives (i.e. agenda Teams laptop set-up etc.)
- Manage travel arrangements
- Support Americas Finance broader team as needed
- Complete expense reports in Concur
- Create and manage purchase orders and vendor set ups
- Prepare presentations numerical reports and update and maintain various spreadsheets and databases
- May serve as the timekeeper for the team. Manage payroll and document vacation and sick time
- Handle departmental administrative duties as required i.e. ordering office/lab supplies preparing purchase requisitions etc.
- Handle A/V technical issues
- Coordinate project manage and support events: Town Hall EOY meetings and events monthly team-building lunches and other events upon request
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to prioritize competing work demands planning and organizing to meet scheduled deadlines
- Strong organizational skills including paper and electronic filing systems
- Approachable and helpful demeanor with a strong customer focus
- Ability to respond to internal & external customers in a pro-active and timely fashion
- Excellent attention to detail and high degree of accuracy in all work
- Ability to exercise discretion and handle confidential material and information
- Professional positive service-oriented behavior in all interactions
- Ability to anticipate and initiate cyclical activities
- Proven job-related complex problem-solving and independent judgment abilities
- Ability to complete projects with limited supervision
- Ability to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
- Experience with SAP Concur Ariba is plus

Base Salary: $61000 - $88500
Base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location skills education experience for this role and/or internal equity of our current employees as part of any final offer. This position is also eligible to participate in McCormicks Incentive Bonus (MIB) addition to a competitive compensation package permanent employees of McCormick are eligible for our extensive Total Rewards programs that include:
