Job Summary
House Assistant Non-Union Support Staff
Position Summary: Administrative Assistant role with the assignment of directly assisting Associate Principal. The House Assistant is the first line of communication for students families staff and faculty to ensure effective and efficient operation of the house office.
Duties and Responsibilities (Not limited to):
- Maintain student database for approximately 400 students assigned to the House
- Coordinate meetings for Associate Principals and House counselors
- Assist Associate Principal in teacher evaluation process by maintaining calendar entering and compiling data as assigned and mailing communications to families
- Supervise students during supervised study environments detentions and in-house suspensions
- Provide support for year-end activities and assigned class events as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Extensive work within Google Workspace Applications
- Exceptional writing skills and ability to verbally communicate with students parents staff members and the general public
- Must be detail oriented and have excellent organizational skills
- Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills and ability to multitask effectively
Education and Experience:
- High School diploma required/College degree preferred
- Strong computer skills and problem solving
- Three years fast-paced office experience
- Demonstrated interest working in a school environment and school experience preferred
Work Schedule:
- Ten Months (190 Days)
- 180 student days
- 4 teacher workshop days
- 6 days assigned by your supervisor
- 7:30AM - 3:30PM
- 1425 Annual Hours
Salary Range:
- $30.85/hour - $41.25/hour
