Job Summary
Womens Care founded in 1998 is a leading womens healthcare group in the United States dedicated to providing the highest quality of care for women through their reproductive years and beyond. With 100 locations and over 400 OB/GYNs and specialists across the country Womens Care provides comprehensive patient care in obstetrics gynecology gynecologic oncology urogynecology gynecologic pathology breast surgery genetic counseling maternal fetal medicine laboratory services and fertility.
The Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing support to the Practice Manager and Clinical Provider team within an assigned unit following established standards and practices.
- Provides day-to-day administrative support and completes duties needed to maintain efficiency in the office.
- Researches compiles data creates and edits high quality confidential documents such as letters memos reports and presentations.
- Coordinates and manages schedules and business needs.
- Coordinates logistics for internal leadership and committee meetings including scheduling drafting agendas and creating meeting materials.
- Initiates completes applications and maintains active hospital privileges for all applicable providers.
- Ensures timely renewal of provider licenses.
- Interacts and communicates effectively in written and verbal form with executives and all levels of employees within the organization.
- Prioritizes various assigned tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Adheres to all company policies and procedures while maintaining confidentiality.
- Demonstrates and embodies the Womens Care mission and core values.
- Compliance with all HIPAA rules regulations and guidelines.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- HS Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelors degree preferred.
- Minimum of two years progressive experience working in a medical practice preferably in OBGYN.
- Experience working with EMR systems with knowledge of functionality; eCW a plus.
- Knowledge of medical terminology medical billing and insurance reimbursement.
- Ability to provide critical thinking skills solve problems and identify solutions.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong time management and prioritization skills.
- Displays a professional and positive outlook and manner.
- Must be dependable reliable and punctual.
- Ability to work cooperatively in group situations; offers assistance and support to coworkers inspires trust of others and treats patients and coworkers with respect.
