Required Degree:

BA/BS/BFA required; MFA preferred.

The required degree must be completed by the start date.

Experience:

Teaching Ballet at a pre-professional and/or university level.

Duties/Expectations:

The candidates primary duty will be to teachballet at any level beginning intermediate and advanced commensurate with the candidates level of expertise and the needs of the ballet area. The candidate will be working under theballetarea coordinator and should be willing to improve their teaching through feedback and professional development. Required meetings will include company auditions university conference monthly area meetings and any additional meetings as called by the coordinator. Candidates may be invited to teach a ballet technique class as part of the interview process.
