Job Title: Adjunct Instructor Rehabilitation Sciences (Adjunct Pool)

Division: College of Nursing & Health Sciences
Job Summary: The Department of Rehabilitation Sciences is seeking a qualified Adjunct Rehabilitation Sciences to teach undergraduate courses within the Sports Medicine program. This is a part-time as-needed appointment that supports the department in achieving program and student learning outcomes. The successful candidate will provide high-quality classroom and laboratory instruction assist with student development and contribute to departmental and university service activities.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Provide instruction and student supervision in assigned laboratory and classroom settings.
- Evaluate student performance and submit accurate timely records of grades and attendance.
- Comply with Institutional College and Department policies and procedures.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Athletic Training Sports Medicine Exercise Science Kinesiology or a closely related field.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in sports medicine injury prevention evaluation emergency care rehabilitation and/or related areas.
- Ability to effectively teach and mentor undergraduate students.
- Strong communication organizational and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Current Board of Certification (BOC) certification as an Athletic Trainer (ATC).
- Current or eligibility for Florida Athletic Training licensure.
- Previous college/university teaching experience.
- Clinical experience in athletic training or sports medicine.
This is an undergraduate instructional position; therefore a masters degree is the minimum required academic credential.
