Job Summary
- Provide instruction and student supervision in assigned laboratory clinical and classroom settings.
- Follow the course syllabus and instructional plan established by the lead course instructor.
- Evaluate student clinical/laboratory performance and submit accurate timely records of grades and attendance.
- Communicate student progress and concerns to the lead course instructor.
- Maintain professional relationships with clinical site staff that support the reputation of the Institution and the Registered Nursing Program.
- Comply with Institutional School of Nursing and clinical agency policies and procedures.
- Clinical competence in the assigned specialty area.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Earned a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited institution.
- Unencumbered active Registered Nurse license in the State of Florida.
- Current BLS certification (American Heart Association).
- Prior teaching or preceptor experience in an academic or healthcare setting.
- Familiarity with ATI products and ACEN accreditation standards.
- Ability to meet clinical agency requirements including background check drug screening and immunization/health documentation.
