Part-time welding instructor to teach non-curriculum classes on an as-needed basis.
Duties
The instructor must be able to teach methods for skillfully and safely learning welding theory and application in the following areas: mig tig and stick. The successful candidate will be able to: 1) Safely operate a wide range of welding/fitting tools and equipment; 2) Maintain a positive safe learning environment focused on skills acquisition; 3) Work with diverse student populations with varying skill levels; 4) Prepare and submit instructional records reports grades and all other required paperwork in a timely efficient manner meeting all deadlines and checking for accuracy correctness and completeness of all data.
Minimum Requirements
H.S. Diploma 3 5 years of welding experience
Preferred Qualifications
A.A.S. Welding Technology 1 years of instructional experience
