Basic Function: | Kent State Universitys Trumbull Campus is seeking a part-time Veterinarian or Biology Adjunct Instructor for the Veterinary Technology Program |
Additional Basic Function if applicable: | COURSE DESCRIPTION: BSCI 10005 Small Animal Anatomy and Physiology for Veterinary Technicians Identification of anatomy and basic physiological functions of domestic small animals: skeletal muscles integumentary special sense organs respiratory digestive urinary reproductive endocrine nerves circulatory and immune. The course will consist of both lectures and laboratories. Laboratories will consist of instructive learning demonstrations discussions laboratory assignments and dissection of preserved animal cadavers. |

Minimum Qualifications: | Must have a Masters degree in a related field OR DVM |

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements: | Light work-Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently to move objects. Incumbent must be able to communicate with others. Incumbent may be required to travel from building to building frequently and off campus occasionally. |
Working Schedule: | Tuesdays 9:30 -12 pm Lecture 1-4 pm Laboratory |
