Job Summary
Major Responsibilities:
Candidates considered for adjunct positions under this postings must be able to provide instruction in person at theEvansville IN campus.
PROGRAM OPERATION:
- Perform all instructional duties necessary to teach and facilitate student learning in assigned classes.
- Provide syllabus appropriate to course(s) being taught to students and follows syllabus content and requirements.
- Maintain student attendance and grading records according to College policy as outlined in the Adjunct Handbook.
- Submits requested information within established timelines.
STUDENTS:
- Is available to students outside scheduled class time to answer questions/provide assistance.
- Deal with student concerns and if necessary consult with program coordinator to resolve issues.
INSTRUCTION:
- Meet all scheduled classes of contracted course(s). Use technology such as Blackboard Canva PowerPoint etc. as appropriate.
- In event of emergency absence notifies program/department chair.
- Conduct all activities with an appreciation and respect for diversity of people styles and views. Promote same as an integral part of ones work.

Hiring Range:
- $45.00 per contact hour (approximately $2160 per 8-week course).
Work Hours:
- This role would teach classes running on Tuesday and Thursday from 5:00pm- 8:50pm starting in the August term.
- Adjunct Faculty positions typically begin at the start of semesters or the midpoint: January March August or October. Specific hours will depend on classes assigned but may include evenings.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Journeyperson line worker card
- At least five years of field experience.
- Possesses a baccalaureate degree or higher in technology engineering engineering technology or a baccalaureate degree or higher directly related to the programs discipline
- Must be available to teach in person on the Evansville IN campus
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience providing instruction at a post-secondary institute.
