Adjunct Faculty Computer and Information Technology

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Adjunct Faculty instructors at College of DuPage are responsible for course planning and instruction in classroom lab or clinical settings courses may be conducted in various delivery modes such as face-to-face on-line hybrid and/or blended addition adjunct faculty are responsible for student evaluation and timely and accurate submission of required paperwork related to instruction.

Required Qualifications:

CIT department is in search of IT professionals to support adjunctteaching in one or more of the various areas of Information Technology (IT)including: Network Security Routing Switching Firewalls CyberSecurity Virtualization VoIPor Cloud.

  • Minimum of a bachelors degree in or related to the field of Information Technology (IT) Computer Science or Telecommunications required.
  • Minimum of three years of professional experience in related field of Information Technology or Telecommunications required.
    IT Industry certification related to CIT specified curriculum (within first 90 days).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in or related to the field of Information Technology (IT) Computer Science or Telecommunications preferred.
  • Five years of professional related IT experience preferred.
  • One or more IT industry certifications: Cisco CCNA Cisco CCNP Microsoft Azure Amazon AWS Certified Ethical -- Hacking (CEH) Comp TIA Pentest Comp TIA Security ISC2CCSP preferred PMP Cyber Security.
  • One year of teaching a technology course preferred.

    Ability to teach remotely with technology and experience in online or virtual teaching preferred. Access to personal technology home computer with appropriate ability to teach online required.

    These positions are paid by stipends for course assignments

    A pre-employment background check at the Colleges expense is required.
