Our 20-bed inpatient hospital specializing in geriatric psychiatric care is looking for a dedicated Activity/Recreational Therapist to join our team. Located next to NHC HealthCare Maryland Heights our facility serves patients with cognitive and mental health needs.

Role overview:

• Lead group and individual therapeutic activities

• Observe and document patient behavior and condition

• Complete assessments and documentation per policy

• Support a safe structured environment for patients

Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Recreational Therapy Exercise Science or related field

• Valid drivers license

• 1 year of recreation therapy experience in a psychiatric setting

• Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist -preferred but not required
