What You Will Do
As a KRE Security Armed Security Officer you will help maintain a safe secure and professional environment at your assigned location.
Typical responsibilities include:
- Maintain a visible and professional security presence
- Monitor entrances exits common areas and designated post locations
- Conduct security patrols as required by the assignment
- Help maintain a safe and secure environment
- Respond appropriately to incidents safety concerns and emergencies
- Complete daily activity reports and required documentation
- Follow site policies procedures and post orders
- Communicate professionally with clients supervisors employees and other personnel
- Identify and report unusual or suspicious activity
- Safely and professionally perform all duties associated with an armed security assignment
What We Are Looking For
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or GED
- Prior security military law enforcement or related experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Reliable attendance when accepting assignments
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check
- Must complete required in person orientation before assignment
- Must meet all applicable Pennsylvania requirements to work as an armed security officer
- Must possess and maintain any required firearms qualifications and certifications for the assignment
Armed Security Requirements
Candidates must be legally qualified to perform armed security duties in Pennsylvania and must meet all applicable requirements for the position and specific assignment.
Additional qualifications firearms requirements training or certifications may apply depending on the assignment.
Compensation and Benefits
Pay: $22.00 - $23.00 per hour
Military Differential: $0.25 per hour for eligible veterans and active duty service members
