Job Summary
As theAcquisition Analyst working for Hepburn and Sons LLC you will be the functional alternate to the Principle Acquisition Analyst/Program Leads in the areas of each individual government customer by platform and/or combat system. Individuals will specialize in certain areas of Government Furnished Equipment (GFE)/ Contractor Furnished Equipment (CFE) management but also support overall management.
This is a contingent position based on award/funding from the customer.

- Review PARMs acquisition plans taking into consideration factors including planned contract award dates and production lead-time todetermine the ability of the PARMs to meet the required GFE delivery dates specified in Ship Project Directive (SPD) Part IIIs and the Schedule as of applicable shipbuilding contracts
- Provide technicalexpertisewith the development and preparation of SPD Part Is which convey GFE management
- Develop Acquisition Milestone Charts based on the PARM acquisition plans and the Shipbuilding Profile for the tracking of system development to system delivery
- Provide technical analysis in the development of SPD Part III based on changes to configuration baselines shipbuilding profiles shipbuildingcontractsand ship production schedules
- Communicate with the shipbuilders on a regular basis tomaintaincurrent Shipyard Preferred Dates (SYPDs) based on the latest ship production schedules
- Identifyany GFE delivery delays that couldimpactshipbuilder production schedules
- Conduct risk analysis and provide recommendations to PAE Maritime GEM on how to mitigate delivery risk(s)
- Bachelors degree in a related field
- 4 years relevant experience in DoD/Navy programmanagement Governmenttechnical management or Industry business management
- DoD Secret level clearance or ability to obtain a Secret clearance
Preferred:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering Business administration Finance English History Computer Science Economics Mathematics Communications Accounting Education or Science discipline
- 2 years of experience working with Government Furnished Equipment (GFE)
Salary range (subject to experience and qualifications) - $65000 - $80000
