Job Summary
IFE NDT is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist / Billing to join our Finance team in Odessa Texas. This full-time position reports to the Financial Controller and handles customer invoicing payment application collections follow-up and account reconciliation.
Responsibilities include:
Prepare and issue accurate customer invoices using approved field tickets work orders purchase orders pricing agreements and supporting documentation.
Submit invoices through email customer billing portals and other required systems.
Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on overdue balances rejected invoices and disputed charges.
Communicate professionally with customers regarding payment status billing discrepancies and missing information.
Record and apply customer payments accurately.
Research and resolve unapplied payments short payments duplicate payments credits and account discrepancies.
Reconcile customer accounts and assist with month-end accounts receivable reporting.
Maintain accurate billing contacts payment terms portal information and invoicing instructions.
Coordinate with internal teams to obtain missing tickets approvals purchase orders and billing documentation.
Escalate delinquent accounts and unresolved billing concerns to the Financial Controller.
Maintain organized financial records protect confidential information and follow internal controls.
Identify opportunities to improve billing and collections processes.

High school diploma or GED required; an associate or bachelors degree in accounting finance business or a related field preferred.
Three or more years of experience in accounts receivable billing collections or bookkeeping preferred.
Experience with invoicing payment application account reconciliation and collections follow-up preferred.
Familiarity with accounting software ERP systems customer billing portals and electronic records.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel Outlook Word and Teams.
Strong attention to detail accuracy organization and time management.
Professional written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple deadlines work independently and coordinate with other departments.
Ability to handle confidential customer banking pricing and financial information with discretion.
Experience in oilfield services industrial services construction transportation or another project-based industry is beneficial.
