Position Summary

AmeriVet Veterinary Partners is seeking an experiencedAccounts Receivable Managerto lead and build our AR function as we continue to grow. This role is ideal for aself-starterwho thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys creating structure improving processes and driving results.

The Accounts Receivable Manager will oversee all aspects of receivables collections cash application customer account management and reporting while partnering closely with Finance and Operations to improve cash flow and reduce outstanding balances. This individual will play a key role in developing scalable processes andestablishingbest practices across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day Accounts Receivable function across the organization.

  • Establish build and continuously improve AR processes policies and workflows.

  • Monitor aging reports and proactively manage collections to reduce outstanding balances.

  • Develop collection strategies whilemaintainingpositive relationships with internal and external partners.

  • Oversee cash application and ensuretimelyandaccurateposting of customer payments.

  • Reconcile customer accounts and resolve billing discrepancies in partnership with internal teams.

  • Prepare AR reporting KPIs and analysis for Finance leadership.

  • Identifytrends risks and opportunities to improve cash flow and operational efficiency.

  • Partner with Operations Practice Management and Finance to resolve account issues and streamline processes.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies accounting standards and internal controls.

  • Assistwith month-end close activities audits and financial reporting related to accounts receivable.

  • Evaluate current systemsrecommend process improvements and automation opportunities andleverage AItool in the management of AR.

  • Support future team growth through documentation training and development of AR best practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance Business or related field preferred.

  • 6 years of progressive Accounts Receivable experience including leadership or management responsibilities.

  • Experience building or transforming AR processes in a growing or multi-location organization preferred.

  • Strong understanding of billing collections cash application reconciliations and financial reporting.

  • Advanced Excel skills and experience working within ERP or accounting systems.

  • Excellent analytical organizational and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong communicationskills with the ability to partner across multiple departments.

  • Ability to prioritize competing deadlines whilemaintainingaccuracy and attention to detail.
