The Accounting Operations Associate is responsible for supporting day-to-day accounting processes including transaction entry reconciliation and reporting activities. This role ensures accurate financial documentation compliance with internal controls and timely resolution of discrepancies to maintain operational integrity within the finance function.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Process daily accounting transactions including accounts payable accounts receivable and journal entries.
Reconcile bank statements ledger accounts andidentifyand resolve discrepancies.
Assistwith month-end and year-end close activities ensuringaccurateandtimelyfinancial data.
Prepare standard financial reports andmaintainorganized records in compliance with internal policies.
Support internal and external audit requests throughaccuratedata compilation and documentation.
Collaborate with internal teams to investigate and resolve routine accounting issues.
Ensure compliance with applicable accounting policies procedures and regulatory standards.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field.
13 years of experience in accounting or finance operations within a corporate environment.
Experience with accounting systems andproficiencyin Microsoft Excel.

CERTIFICATIONS / LICENSES / REGISTRATIONS

FUNCTIONAL SKILLS

Knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management.
Proficiencyin accounting systems and spreadsheet tools.
Analytical and problem-solving skills for resolving transaction discrepancies.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines under minimal supervision.
Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with internal stakeholders.
