PositionAccounts PayableManagerPrimary Work EnvironmentOffice-Based: A position that is primarily office-based at an assigned work site. May includeminimaltravel outside ofassignedwork SummaryThe Accounts Payable Manager oversees all aspects of the companysaccountspayable function ensuringtimelyaccurate and compliant processing of vendor invoices employee reimbursements and payment transactions. This roleis responsible forleading the AP teammaintainingstrong internal controlsoptimizingAP systems and workflows and supporting themonthendandyearendclose processes. The AP Manager works closely with Procurement Accounting Finance and department leaders to ensure AP operations support organizational of Primary ResponsibilitiesLeadership & ManagementSupervise coach and develop AP staff; manage hiring training evaluations and team goals KPIs and productivity a culture of accuracy accountability customer service and continuous Payable OperationsOverseefullcycleaccounts payable processing including invoice intake coding approval routing and payment compliance with company policies GAAP and any contractual vendor master data ensuring accuracy completeness weekly/biweeklypayment runs (ACH check card wire payments).Oversee employee expense reimbursement processes and corporate credit of invoice discrepancies vendor inquiries and payment Controls & ComplianceMaintain strong AP controls including 3way match segregation of duties vendor verification and approval compliance with IRS regulations including 1099 with auditors and provide required & Process ImprovementLead optimization of AP systems automation tools and ERP evaluate and streamline AP processes to reduce cycle time and improve digital transformation including electronic invoicing and payment Reporting & ClosePrepareAPrelatedjournal entries accruals and reconciliations AP aging reportscashflowimpact analyses and key AP with Procurement Budgeting andAccountingteams on spend and ExperienceMinimum Education Required:Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance Business or related field (or equivalent experience).5 years of progressive accounts payable Experience Required:2 years supervisory understanding of GAAP and AP best ERP systems (e.g. NetSuite Dynamics SAP Oracle Sage).Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP reconciliation techniques).Excellent organizational analytical communicationskills and ability to Requirement:n/aBH Level:n/aPreferred Education:Preferred Experience:Experience in nonprofitgovernmentfunded orgrantfundedenvironments (if applicable).Experience with AP automation tools (e.g. AvidXchange Concur).Knowledge of international payments License:Certification (CAPA CMA CPA or similar)a / RegulatoryRequirementsMinimum18years of Level I fingerprint clearancecard (mustmaintainvalid card throughout employment)CPR First Aid AED certification ifrequired(mustmaintainthroughout employment).Current valid Drivers License and 39-month Motor Vehicle Report and proof of vehicle registration liability insurance to meet insurance requirementsInitial current negative TB test result ifrequired(Employer provides).Basic KnowledgeSkillsand AbilitiesComprehension of the English language verbally and in writing and the ability to read write and speak literacy to include working knowledge of Microsoft 365 Office Systems WordOutlookand Excel application; ability toutilizeElectronic Health Record (EHR).Verbal de-escalation safety-carePhysical DemandsThe conditionshereinare representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
