Accounting Support Specialist

Job Title: Support SpecialistJob Department: AccountingJob Pay Rate: $21.00 - $22.00 / hour Job Summary:As an Accounting Support Specialist you will play a key role in supporting the daily financial operations of the Accounting Department across multiple functional areas. This position assists with maintaining accurate financial records processing transactions and ensuring compliance with established accounting procedures and internal controls. The Accounting Support Specialist helps safeguard company assets supports timely and accurate reporting and upholds the highest standards of confidentiality when handling sensitive guests employee vendor and financial information. Success in this role requires strong attention to detail organizational skills professionalism and a commitment to accuracy and service excellence. Other duties may be assigned:Prepare daily deposits and incoming wire transfer with vendor setup and maintenance in accounts payable up and maintain user access within accounting and AP operations teams in resolving guest vehicle loss claims and related with third-party providers to obtain and track Certificates of Insurance (COIs).Provide administrative support to the Vice President of Finance and and replenish departmental office distribute and archive monthly financial reporting organized records and file completed account and maintain all property licenses and related employees and departmental expense reports for accuracy and and monitor electronic postage meter complete compliance with The Broadmoor guidelines operational procedures safety policies and institutional standards for excellence (Forbes Travel Guide and AAA Five-Diamond).Maintain a willingness to learn about The Broadmoors history estate grounds wilderness properties culinary offerings and retail additional duties and responsibilities as required.
