Accounting Support Specialist

Midwestern Wheels Inc. a proud licensee of Avis Budget Group is seeking a self-motivated Accounting Support Specialist to join our Accounting Department. In this role you will support the Accounting Department with a variety of administrative and financial support functions including:

• Reconcile and record daily weekly and monthly accounts receivable activity
• Prepare month-end accounts receivable reports and related documentation
• Research and respond to customer credit card chargeback inquiries
• Maintain accurate records files and supporting documentation
• Generate update and manage Excel-based reports spreadsheets and data tracking tools
• Assist with internal communications information requests and follow-up activities
• Work independently while meeting departmental goals deadlines and quality standards
• Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned

What We Are Looking For:

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel including formulas and reporting
• Excellent attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Professional written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• Previous accounting support accounts receivable or administrative experience preferred

Compensation & Benefits:
