Description
The Manager Accounts Payable and Receivable is responsible for leading the organizations integrated accounts payable and accounts receivable functions to ensure financial accuracy operational efficiency and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. This role oversees end-to-end transaction processing cash disbursements customer invoicing collections and account reconciliations while maintaining a strong control environment. The position partners closely with Finance Procurement Commercial and Operations leaders to optimize cash flow improve financial processes and support business growth. The Manager drives process standardization automation initiatives and continuous improvement efforts while developing a high-performing team and ensuring scalable financial operations.

Description

Requirements
- Lead the day-to-day operations of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable ensuring accurate timely and compliant processing of financial transactions.
- Establish implement and maintain policies procedures and internal controls governing payables and receivables activities.
- Oversee vendor payments employee reimbursements customer billing collections cash applications and account reconciliations.
- Monitor cash flow drivers and working capital metrics proactively identifying risks and opportunities for improvement.
- Partner with Procurement Commercial Operations and Finance stakeholders to resolve transaction issues and improve end-to-end financial processes.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards company policies and regulatory requirements related to AP and AR activities.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external audits involving accounts payable accounts receivable and related financial controls.
- Develop and track key performance indicators aging reports exception trends and service-level metrics to drive operational excellence.
- Lead process improvement and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency scalability data quality and user experience.
- Recruit develop coach and manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable team members while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Typically requires 9 years of progressive experience in accounting finance operations or shared services environments.
- Minimum 3 years of leadership experience managing Accounts Payable Accounts Receivable or related transactional finance teams.
- Demonstrated expertise in cash management financial controls reconciliations and compliance frameworks.
- Experience supporting internal and external audits regulatory reviews and control testing activities.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives influence stakeholders and implement process improvement or automation solutions.
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance Business Administration or a related field required.
- CPA CMA or other relevant professional certification preferred.
