Your Impact

In this dynamic Accounting Internship youll gain hands-on experience supporting the financial operations of a Fortune 50 company. Youll work alongside accounting and finance professionals who help ensure the accuracy integrity and transparency of Lowes financial reporting. Throughout the internship youll learn how large-scale organizations manage financial data analyze performance and support strategic decision-making.

This role provides exposure to core accounting processes such as financial reporting reconciliations and analysis while allowing you to contribute to projects that help drive operational efficiency and financial accuracy across the business.

What You Will Learn

• Assist with financial reporting reconciliations and preparation of accounting documentation.
• Support month-end and quarter-end close activities alongside accounting teams.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and opportunities for improved efficiency.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to understand how accounting supports broader business strategy.
• Gain exposure to internal controls compliance requirements and corporate accounting practices.
• Utilize financial systems and tools to organize track and report accounting information.

Minimum Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Accounting Finance or related field.
• Expected graduation dates of December 2027 or May 2028

Preferred Skills/Experience

• 3.0 cumulative GPA
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office programs.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Relevant internship or accounting-related experience is a plus.
• Experience in a leadership position at work or within a campus organization.
