GENERAL DESCRIPTION:


Under general direction of the Executive Director or designated supervisor coordinates the administration licensing and operational activities of the Wyoming Skill-Based Amusement Game Program. This position is responsible for planning and maintaining regulatory processes that ensure compliance with Wyoming statutes administrative rules and Commission policies

The Program Coordinator serves as the Commissions primary resource for program administration provides assistance to licensees and stakeholders maintains regulatory records prepares reports and recommendations for Commission leadership. The position exercises independent judgment in interpreting regulations resolving administrative issues and recommending enforcement or corrective actions while maintaining the integrity of Wyomings regulated gaming industry.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Coordinate the administration of the Skill-Based Amusement Game Program.
  • Process and maintain licensing registration and permit applications and records.
  • Assist with investigations involving potential regulatory violations.
  • Prepare reports correspondence meeting materials and program documentation.
  • Provide guidance and assistance to licensees and stakeholders regarding regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain electronic and physical records in accordance with applicable retention policies.
  • Track program metrics licensing activity and compliance data.
  • Recommend improvements to program operations procedures and administrative processes.
  • Collaborate with internal staff other governmental agencies and industry representatives.
  • Represent the Commission in a professional manner during meetings training sessions and public interactions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:
Bachelors Degree (typically in Finance)
Experience:
0-3 years of progressive work experience (typically in Finance) with acquired knowledge at the level of a Senior Accountant
OR
Education & ExperienceSubstitution:
4-6 years of progressive work experience (typically in Finance) with acquired knowledge at the level of a Senior Accountant

Necessary Special Requirements


PHYSICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:


  • Valid Wyoming Driver License or ability to obtain one.
  • Ability to pass required background investigations.
  • Ability to obtain any credentials required by the Wyoming Gaming Commission.
