The Department of Natural Resources Support Services Divisionis recruiting for an Accountant 3 in Anchorage.
This position is open to Alaska Residents only.

What You Will Be Doing:
The Accountant 3 oversees both travel and expense and the accounts payable processing for DNR performing the following duties:
- Performs supervisory and management functions including workforce development operational planning policy development data analysis and program coordination.
- Develops manages and is accountable for maintaining a high-performance team meeting agreed-upon service level targets and performance measures.
- Serves as the subject matter expert for travel and expense as well as accounts payable processes while applying advanced accounting knowledge.
- Audits and certifies documents for compliance with the AAM CBU and standard operating procedures.
- Analyzes transactions and processes identifies discrepancies develops improved methods and implements solutions.
- Responsible for end-of-fiscal-year activities.

Any combination of preparatory post-secondary education and/or progressively responsible professional level experience in accounting budgeting or financial management.
