Job Summary

Essential Functions

• All team members are expected to be knowledgeable and compliant with Prisma Healths purpose: Inspire health. Serve with compassion. Be the difference.

• Handles incoming calls to the department. Provides information to callers/visitors pertaining to the services of the department. Greets internal/external callers/visitors.

• Registers patients and verifies payer source.

• Follows up on all account claims that have been billed and unpaid

• Reports key statistics for compliance sales revenue cash and patient flow.

• Performs insurance pre-authorization process enters validates and reconciles visit activity and supplies to ensure accurate billing.

• Posts payments every day and reconcile deposits.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

Supervisory/Management Responsibilities

• This is a non-management job that will report to a supervisor manager director or executive.

Minimum Requirements

• Education - High School diploma or equivalent OR post high school diploma

• Experience - Two (2) years of customer service experience.
