Job Summary
The Account Manager is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of existing and renewing clients following the onboarding process led by Sales. This role serves as the primary point of contact for clients & brokers ensuring exceptional service delivery strengthening client relationships and identifying opportunities for retention and organic growth.
The ideal candidate is client-focused commercially minded and experienced in managing complex accounts while collaborating cross-functionally to deliver value.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Builds strong customer relationships through regular and proactive communication using various media and collaborative tools.
- Responds swiftly and appropriately to questions and concerns from clients and their intermediaries.
- Utilizes a consultative approach in determining the most effective coverage for a particular clients need in administering pricing tools in preparation for bids.Â
- Prices quotes with commercial and risk underwriters who will structure and decide commercial terms.
- Communicates client needs and demands to Coface.
- Delivers critical data to the client; translating key information into client needs.

Account Management:
- Acts as a central point of contact for the client and/or its intermediaries.
- Owns the renewal process for assigned client portfolio including preparation negotiation and execution.
- Demonstrates all Coface offerings to existing clients to determine those solutions best suited for their needs. Develops and executes cross-selling strategies to Cofaces existing clients
- Works proactively on renewals and addresses any potential risks/vulnerabilities in advance.
- Identifies weaknesses in the portfolio and comes up with solutions while ensuring client retention.
- Collaborates to ensure timely renewal of policies confirms all contractual documentation and full compliance with company rules and external regulators.
- Identifies opportunities to grow business with existing clients.
- Coordinates with supporting staff members to ensure consistent service
- Collaborates with sales team to reach prospective clients
- Services multiple clients concurrently often meeting deadlines
- Documentation of client interactions in efforts to identify needs

Market Knowledge:
- Establishes and ensures credibility with clients by clearly articulating detailed current market conditions and aligns with the Coface value proposition vs our competitors.
Communication:
- Supplies management with verbal and written reports on customer needs problems interests competitive activities and potential for new products and services
- Develops maintains and levers strong relationships with intermediaries in order to increase the client retention.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree required.
- At least three (3) years of account management or sales experience in the commercial insurance industry. Â
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications: Outlook Word Excel PPT CRM
- P&C Insurance license a plus or ability to pass licensing course 60 days from hire date.
- Team player that is adaptable to changing risk appetites or market conditions Â
- Possesses the ability to work cohesively with customers brokers sales agents peers and managerial personnel.

- Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities in a fast-paced environment
