About Our Client

Our client is a well-established manufacturer of outdoor and leisure furniture in business for over 20 years. The company designs and produces a broad range of beach camping and outdoor furniture along with other leisure products out of a large modern manufacturing operation with more than a thousand addition to its Asian manufacturing base the company maintains a dedicated sales and service presence and a U.S.-based R&D center in Bentonville AR.
The company has built long-standing relationships with major national retailers including Walmart The Home Depot Aldi Lidl Dicks Sporting Goods and Kmart among others. Position Overview

The Account Executive will serve as the primary day-to-day point of contact for one of the companys key retail accounts based out of the Bentonville AR market. This role is responsible for managing the account relationship driving assortment and sales growth and coordinating cross-functionally with supply chain marketing and product development to ensure the retailers needs are met and business objectives are achieved.

Work Arrangement: Office in Bentonville Arkansas
Travel Requirements: Some domestic and international travel expected for buyer meetings retailer reviews and trade events

Key Responsibilities

Manage the day-to-day relationship with the retail account serving as the primary liaison between the company and the Walmart buying team
Lead assortment planning and seasonal program management to align product offerings with retailer needs and category goals
Own sales analysis forecast analysis and in-stock monitoring to identify opportunities and address supply chain performance issues
Develop and present pricing and costing strategies that support both profitability and competitive positioning
Conduct competitive analysis and monitor market trends to inform assortment pricing and promotional recommendations
Collaborate with marketing on retailer-specific programs and with product development teams on new item launches
Manage online content and e-commerce strategy for the account ensuring product presentation meets retailer standards
Prepare and deliver business reporting and retail data analysis to internal leadership and retailer partners
Resolve day-to-day account issues including order inventory and shipment concerns in a timely and professional manner

Required Qualifications

Requirements:

37 years of experience in account management retail sales or category management ideally within consumer goods
Bachelors degree required
Demonstrated experience managing the Walmart retail account with strong buyer communication skills
Proficiency with retail data tools and experience with assortment planning forecasting and in-stock management

Preferred:

Experience in the outdoor furniture leisure products or broader home goods category
Familiarity with e-commerce strategy and online content management for retail partners

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary range: $140000 -155000
Bonus opportunity: Bonus or Commission opportunity
