Level Scope: | Recognized subject matter expert who knows how to apply theory and put it into practice with in-depth understanding of the professional field with limited oversight from managers. Independently performs the full range of responsibilities within the function; requires deep job knowledge of areas typically obtained through higher education combined with experience. Manages large projects or processes and problems faced are difficult and often complex; analyzes problems/issues of diverse scope and determines solutions. May manage programs that include formulating strategies and administering policies processes and resources; functions with a high degree of autonomy. Influences others regarding policies practices and procedures. |
Essential Functions: | 60% of Time the Academic Programs & Projects Coordinator must: 35% of Time the Academic Programs & Projects Coordinator must: Responsible for performing advanced coordinative and administrative duties to support the specified department. Additionally this role now involves leadership in planning developing and managing program initiatives that contribute to the universitys academic goals and strategic priorities. The incumbent will work with senior university officials faculty and external partners to oversee and direct complex academic program activities. 5% of Time the Academic Programs & Projects Coordinator will: Perform other duties as assigned. |
Knowledge Skills Abilities: | Ability to manage/coordinate projects and navigate multiple task streams and ensure work is carried out in a timely fashion. |
MinimumQualifications: | Bachelors Degree or equivalent plus 5 years experience. |
Preferred Qualifications: | Seven years of professional experience or equivalent relevant experience and three years of managerial experience. |
Salary and Benefits: | Salary range is $60673.60 to $68932.20 annually and is commensurate with State University provides a best-in-classbenefits package including (but not limited to):
