Job Summary
Livingston Public Schools is currently accepting applications for a full-time ABA Discrete Trial TA to work at Burnet Hill Elementary School. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children with autism spectrum disorder and be familiar with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques.
Responsibilities:
- Implementing ABA-based discrete trial instruction to students with autism spectrum disorder
- Collecting data on student progress and behavior
- Assisting with behavior management and reinforcement strategies
- Collaborating with teachers and other professionals to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Providing support during classroom activities and transitions
- Communicating with parents and guardians regarding student progress and behavior
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in psychology education or related field
- Experience working with children with autism spectrum disorder
- Familiarity with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be able to pass a background check and obtain necessary clearances
Additional training will be discussed at interview and provided during the first year of employment. Salary will be determined in accordance with the LEA agreement available on the districts website ().
