Position Criteria:
- Valid Iowa teaching license preferred but not required
- Demonstrate aptitude for performing tasks listed
- Must exhibit ethical practices and be a role model to students
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable
PerformanceCriteria:
- Assist head coach/sponsor with an needed mock trial activities
- Conduct team meetings and
- Keep parents and team members informed of scheduled practices and scrimmages
- Inform team members of district rules and procedures of tournament
- Instruct team members on proper trial decorum and appearance
- Help students construct case theme and line questioning
- Coordinate plans with the 8th and 10th-12th grade coaches/sponsors to ensure organization and continuity
