8th Grade Girls Basketball Coach

Pottsgrove Athletics is seeking a qualified dedicated and high-energy 8th Grade Girls Basketball Coach. The coach will be responsible for leading all aspects of the middle school program including team management player development supervision and fostering a competitive sportsmanship-driven environment aligned with Pottsgroves athletic values.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the middle school girls basketball including practice planning game strategy and communication.
• Maintain strict adherence to all rules policies and guidelines established by the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association (PIAA) and the Pioneer Athletic Conference (PAC).
• Foster student-athlete academic success sportsmanship discipline and leadership on and off the court.
• Coordinate with the Athletic Director regarding facility use transportation and equipment inventory.

Qualifications

• Required: Minimum of (3) years of experience coaching basketball.
• Required: Comprehensive understanding of PIAA rules eligibility criteria and Pioneer Athletic Conference guidelines.
• Preferred: Prior experience coaching interscholasitc sports.
• Preferred: Prior experience participating in interscholastic sports.
