Work Year: School Year (180 days)
Minimum qualifications:
- A minimum of an Associates Degree in Social Work Counseling Human Services or related field from anaccredited college or university.
- Possess significant knowledge of Taunton and surrounding resources that provide support across a broad spectrum of need cultures and languages.
- Possess knowledge of drop-out prevention strategies.
- Ability to build positive trusting and effective interpersonal relationships.
- Fluency in second language preferred.
- Willingness to make home visits.
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent or his designee may deem appropriate.
Job Goal: To provide outreach to students and families in need
serving a vital role in District wrap-around services.
