3rd shift (Overnight) Housekeeper (Janitorial)

The Overnight Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness appearance and overall presentation of the shopping center during overnight hours. This position plays an important role in ensuring that public areas restrooms entrances common areas and other designated spaces are clean sanitary and ready for shoppers tenants employees and visitors each day.

The ideal candidate is dependable detail-oriented and capable of working independently while following established cleaning procedures safety standards and company expectations.

• Clean sanitize and maintain public restrooms including toilets sinks mirrors partitions floors and high-touch surfaces.
• Sweep mop vacuum and maintain floors throughout designated common areas hallways entrances and other assigned spaces.
• Clean glass doors interior windows mirrors and other glass surfaces as assigned.
• Dust and wipe down furniture countertops fixtures ledges railings and other surfaces.
• Empty trash and recycling receptacles replace liners and transport waste to designated disposal areas.
• Clean and maintain seating areas food court spaces gathering areas and other public spaces as assigned.
• Remove fingerprints smudges spills and visible marks from doors walls and other surfaces.
• Respond promptly to spills accidents and other cleaning needs to maintain a safe environment.
• Replenish restroom supplies including toilet paper paper towels hand soap and other required products.
• Perform periodic deep cleaning and detail cleaning as directed by management.
• Properly operate and maintain cleaning equipment tools and supplies.
• Follow all chemical handling procedures safety guidelines and proper equipment operating instructions.
• Report maintenance concerns damaged fixtures plumbing issues safety hazards and unusual conditions to the supervisor.
• Maintain assigned janitorial closets and storage areas in a clean organized and orderly condition.
• Complete assigned cleaning checklists and report completed work or outstanding concerns to the supervisor.
• Perform other cleaning and housekeeping duties as assigned by management.

• Previous janitorial housekeeping or commercial cleaning experience preferred.
• Ability to work overnight hours and maintain consistent attendance.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean professional environment.
• Ability to work independently and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to manage time effectively and complete assigned tasks within established deadlines.
• Ability to safely use cleaning chemicals equipment and tools.
• Ability to stand walk bend reach and perform repetitive cleaning activities throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift and carry cleaning supplies and equipment within the physical requirements of the position with reasonable accommodation as applicable.
• Reliable transportation and punctuality are essential.

The Overnight Housekeeper is expected to:

• Maintain consistently high cleaning standards throughout all assigned areas.
• Complete all assigned duties before the end of the shift.
• Demonstrate professionalism reliability and a strong work ethic.
• Follow all company policies safety procedures and instructions from management.
• Use cleaning products and equipment responsibly and prevent damage to property and finishes.
• Communicate promptly with supervisors regarding incomplete tasks supply shortages equipment issues or other concerns.
• Help ensure the shopping center is clean presentable and ready for business each day.

This position operates in a large commercial shopping center and may require working in public common areas restrooms hallways entrances food service areas and back-of-house spaces. The position requires extended periods of standing and walking frequent movement between assigned locations and the ability to work overnight with minimal supervision.
