3D Game Design Instructor (Unity, Unreal Engine) for After School K-12

As a member of our network you will be matched with opportunities to teach 3D Game Design to K-12 students at schools buildings and communities across Wash DC. These teaching opportunities will be for terms that could last anywhere from 6 weeks to 18 weeks.

• Develop age-appropriate 3D Game Design curriculum for after-school students using Unity and/or Unreal Engine.
• Lead weekly in-person classes with enthusiasm and expertise where students practice coding build immersive worlds and design games that are fun to play and share.
• Establish a well-structured and lively classroom that keeps students engaged
• Foster a positive supportive and encouraging learning environment for students of varying skill levels
• Build connections with students in a warm and inclusive environment
• Track student growth and offer positive helpful feedback
• Arrive prepared on time and ready to teach
• Create a memorable experience for the children in your class

A fun enthusiastic adaptable instructor with experience teaching school age children and who:

• Has subject matter expertise in 3D Game Design using Unity and/or Unreal Engine.
• Has a passion and skill for building hands-on projects with kids
• Has excitement joy and passion for both teaching kids and personal development/learning
• Knows how to create a fun structured and inclusive classroom environment
• Brings your own voice and creativity to each class you teach
