Location: Roselle Park NJ
Schedule: Afternoon hours available approximately 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM
Compensation:$21.00 - $28.00 per hour

First Children Services is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our clinical team. Under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or other qualified clinical professional the RBT will provide direct behavioral support services to children and adolescents in a variety of settings.
The RBT will implement individualized treatment plans collect data support skill development and collaborate with families and team members to help clients achieve meaningful goals.
During training team members may have opportunities to work with different clients and service settings providing valuable experience and professional growth. Long-term client assignments are based on program needs and availability.
Services may be provided in:
- Schools
- Preschools
- Clinics
- Homes
- Community-based settings
Work locations may vary based on client and program needs.
- Provide direct one-on-one support to clients in educational home clinic or community settings
- Implement individualized treatment plans developed by clinical staff
- Collect and maintain accurate session data and documentation
- Support the development of communication social behavioral and daily living skills
- Use positive evidence-based strategies to help clients achieve treatment goals
- Collaborate with supervisors caregivers and other members of the treatment team
- Participate in ongoing training supervision and professional development activities
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential
- Minimum of one year of experience working with children
- Basic computer and technology skills for documentation purposes
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to receive and implement feedback professionally
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation
- Experience working in behavioral health education human services or a related field
- Bachelors degree in Psychology Education Social Work or a related discipline
