What does our Internship Program offer

Keys Enterprise Internship is a 10.5-week program that provides meaningful work that matters offers feedback and coaching and creates engaging events and conversations that will spark excitement and interest in bringing ones full-time career to Key.

Interns are involved in a host of line of business specific projects that directly impact and benefit Keys business and strategic pillars. The program includes networking with Key teammates across all levels of the organization a series of Learning Labs where internal and external speakers provide insight on Keys competitive landscape financial wellness and professional development best practices and an assigned mentor who shares knowledge experience and advice.

• Enterprise Operations spanning Origination through Default Management Deposit Operations ACH Wire & Check Payment OperationsTreasury Operations
• Enterprise Security including Technology Risk Management Information Security Vulnerability Management Cybersecurity Fraud Detection/Management Identity Verification and Physical Security

Key Technology and Services (Technology Track) Internship Program

Our summer internship program spans 10 weeks in duration and allows you to work alongside KeyBanks experts within Key Technology & Services (KTS). The internship provides an opportunity to obtain hands-on experience with our innovative technology teams. Our internships will equip you with competitive skills valuable networking and mentoring and exposure to executives through a structured experience.

• Upon successful completion of the internship you will have the opportunity to be considered for placement (after graduation) in our KTS Rotational Analyst Program. Candidacy for the program will be based on skills demonstrated performance career interests internship experience and business demand

Qualifications

• Must have completed at least three years toward a four-year undergraduate degree program with focused coursework in Computer Science Information Systems IT Management Software Engineering Web Development Computer Programming Network Engineering Game Design and System Administration or related field with an anticipated graduation of May 2028 or December 2027
• Outstanding academic achievement (minimum undergraduate 3.0 GPA)
• Demonstrated leadership and teamwork from past work experience and/or extracurricular activities
• Bring solid analytical problem solving communication and presentation skills
• Possess intellectual curiosity enthusiasm and willingness to learn

Compensation and Benefits

This position is eligible to earn an hourly rate of $25 per hour. Compensation also includes a $2000.00 Summer Internship Sign-on Bonus.

KeyBanks Internship and Analyst positions are not eligible for employment visa sponsorship (e.g. H-1B visa). This includes for example situations where a candidate may have temporary work authorization while enrolled in school or upon graduation (e.g. CPT OPT) but would need H-1B visa sponsorship within a few years of employment in order to maintain employment eligibility.
