2027 Summer Intern Industrial Engineer (Operations) – Fort Worth, TX

What You Will Need:

• Actively pursuing a bachelors degree or higher with a major in Industrial Engineering Industrial Engineering Technology or Industrial & Systems Engineering required.
• Minimum 60 credit hours completed by the start of the internship (June 1 2027) or prior Bell internship experience.
• Able to complete the entire 10 weeks of the internship: June 1 August 6 2027.

3.0 minimum overall undergraduate GPA strongly preferred.

A Day in the Life of an Industrial Engineering Intern:

We are looking for inquisitive and driven individuals with a passion to innovate. Bring your experience and ideas and help us build a world-class global operations team while keeping safety a top priority for the company. As an Industrial Engineer at Bell you can expect to play a key role in enabling Manufacturing to produce Quality Products Safely on time and under budget. This position will ensure that we identify and implement the required resources (Man Machine Material Measures) needed to meet these objectives.

Working on projects in the following areas-

• Capacity and 4M Analysis (Man Machine/Tool Material and Measure)
• Standards Span Order Policy Work Structure & Routing Maintenance including Time Studies.
• Workflow Optimization & Cost Out (5S Lean Kanban Spaghetti Diagrams)
• Facility and Equipment Capital planning and layouts
• Metric / Performance / Labor Analysis & Data Analytics
• Visual Factory (Crew Loads / Pacer Charts)
• Business Case development
• Project Management
• Safety / Ergonomics
