The Opportunity:
The Truist Finance Internship equips participants with the tools and expertise to thrive in diverse financial roles and contribute to Truists strategic financial success. Through rotational experiences participants gain exposure to a wide range of financial disciplines and build a strong foundation in both technical and analytical skills.
During the internship participants may:
Rotate through teams such as Corporate Finance & Strategy Investor Relations Treasury and Accounting Enterprise and Control Change Office and Enterprise Corporate Services.
Learn and apply financial concepts in real-world settings including financial modeling business case development and strategic planning.
Contribute to internal and external financial reporting and analysis of key financial statements.
Engage in meaningful touchpoints with peers and leaders across the enterprise to foster collaboration and holistic thinking.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Build business acumen and leadership skills by actively participating in and completing all development activities.
Develop business unit knowledge.
Complete projects or assignments that assist the department and support Truist goals.
Collaborate and network with teammates to form lasting professional connections.
Present a Capstone on internship contributions and learnings.
Attend enrichment activities and events with peers and senior leaders.
Invite and receive ongoing performance coaching and feedback.

Required Skills

Working towards the completion of a BA/BS or advanced degree program at an accredited college or university. Business-related degree or coursework preferred. Demonstrated strong academic performance
Scheduled graduation of your final degree by December 2027 June 2029
Demonstrated leadership through on-campus involvement or work experience
Demonstrated strong initiative adaptability/flexibility and growth mindset
Excellent interpersonal written and verbal communication and presentation skills
Ability to work in a professional team environment
Demonstrated proficiency in basic Microsoft Office applications
Proven analytical ability and attention to detail
Ability to work well in a team environment
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Interested in learning more about a career in financial services
Locations: Individuals hired into the program will be located in Charlotte NC.
