Job Summary
Springfield Public Schools is seeking applicants for studentworker positions in our after school programs at Hamlin Middle School Guy Lee and Two Rivers Dos Rios Elementary Schools.
If you are at least 16 years of age or older and interested in working with elementary or middle school age students in an after school setting please complete an application online.
Your specific responsibilities will be determined by your site supervisor but could include:
- Supporting in the classroom (checking in with students explaining the directions helping them stay on task etc.).
- Supporting individual students or small groups to the office bathroom cafeteria as needed.
- Supporting small group instruction - may include recreation creative art or academic support.
- Helping to prepare materials for the day/week.
Expectations:
- Arrive on time.
- Dress appropriately.
- Contact your site supervisor if you are ill.
- Keep cell phones away during work times.
- Be a positive role model.
Work Hours: Varying hours depending on position.3:15-5:15 p.m. 2-4 days per week (Monday-Thursday)
Rate of Pay:$15.55/hr.
Pay Dates: occur on the 15th of each month for work performed in the month prior.
