About Boston Prep Boston Prep is a college-preparatory charter public district made up of a single-site middle and high 2026-2027 our community will include 700 students in grades 6-12 nearly 500 alumni over 150 faculty members and hundreds of families. The majority of our students and families reside in Dorchester Roxbury Mattapan and Hyde Park. Key Responsibilities:Direct Student Support & Service DeliveryProvide 1:1 and small group ABA-based services aligned with student IEPsDeliver behavior-related services as mandated by IEPs and maintain progress monitoring dataSupport students in developing self-regulation coping and executive functioning skillsCollaborate with staff and families to ensure consistency in support across settingsIEP Development & Team ParticipationAttend IEP meetings as the designated behavior specialist or related service providerWrite measurable data-driven behavioral goals and objectives for IEPsMonitor and report on students progress toward IEP goals using behavioral dataConsult with case managers and general educators to ensure behavioral accommodations and services are implemented with fidelityBehavioral Assessment & Plan DevelopmentConduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and write comprehensive Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)Ensure plans are culturally responsive legally compliant and rooted in evidence-based practicesCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement and update BIPs as neededData Collection Tracking & AnalysisDesign systems for behavioral data collection across settingsAnalyze trends and patterns to adjust supports and interventions at the individual and systems levelsGuide staff in collecting and interpreting behavioral data with accuracy and consistencyMTSS & School-Wide SupportProvide leadership in implementing Tier 13 supports through the MTSS modelAnalyze building-wide behavior data to identify needs and design proactive interventionsParticipate in school-level problem-solving teams and serve as a resource for data-based decision-makingStaff Consultation & CoachingProvide consultation to general and special education staff around behavior managementSupport the implementation of classroom-based strategies and behavior accommodationsOffer modeling and real-time feedback to build staff capacity in managing challenging behaviorsProfessional Development & TrainingLead trainings in trauma-informed care positive behavior supports de-escalation and classroom managementProvide individual and group-based PD around behavior strategies and inclusive practicesServe as a thought partner to administrators in aligning behavior systems with school prioritiesPartnering with Students and FamiliesCommunicate proactively with students families and school administrators around behavioral promptly by telephone or e-mail to parent questions and of School CultureFrequently communicate the schools mission to children and to school academic and disciplinary additional responsibilities if desired as negotiated with the Senior Director of Special Education and Related of Organizational CultureActively pursue professional development inside and outside of the with other teachers and administrators to advance the schools : The pay range for this role is: $74406 to $105071 .Qualifications include:Required: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or equivalent credentialPreferred: Prior experience in a public school setting and working with students in grades 612Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departmentsKnowledge of IDEA IEP development and school-based compliance standardsExperience with data systems and behavior progress monitoring toolsFor more information please visit our website at .
