Location: Hagerstown MD
Schedule: ThursdaySaturday 7:00 AM7:00 PM with alternating Wednesdays
Salary: $70000 per year (based on experience)
Status: Full-time Exempt (Salaried)

Job Summary

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for leading the daily operations of a warehouse and logistics team. This role oversees staff performance ensures efficient workflow maintains safety standards and helps improve warehouse processes. The supervisor works closely with management and customers to meet operational goals and deliver excellent service.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse and logistics operations.
• Schedule and assign work to ensure efficient shift coverage and productivity.
• Monitor team performance and ensure operational goals and key performance indicators (KPIs) are met.
• Collaborate with management to improve warehouse processes equipment and workflow.
• Work directly with customers to support daily operations and resolve issues.
• Coach train and develop employees to improve performance and encourage career growth.
• Conduct employee performance evaluations and recommend recognition or merit increases when appropriate.
• Address attendance performance and disciplinary issues in a professional manner.
• Promote teamwork inclusion and a positive work environment.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety security and company policies.
• Provide new employee orientation and ensure staff have the tools and training needed to succeed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of experience in a warehouse distribution or transportation environment preferred.
• Up to 1 year of supervisory or team lead experience required.
• Strong leadership communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
