Allegiance Security is seekingtwo dependable and professional Security Officersfor Spartanburg School District 6. These positions are specifically assigned tostudent restroom monitoringduring the school day.

Primary Responsibilities

• Patrol and monitor assignedstudent restroomsthroughout the school day.
• Help prevent students from loitering or congregating in restrooms between classes.
• Maintain a professional and visible security presence in assigned restroom areas.
• Observe and report any inappropriate suspicious or unauthorized activity.
• Immediately notify designated school staff of any issues using atwo-way radio.
• Complete incident or activity reports as required.

Observe and Report Position

This is strictly anObserve and Reportposition. Security Officers arenot responsible for disciplining students or physically interveningin student-related incidents. Any issues or concernswill be immediately communicated to designated school personnel by two-way radio.

Schedule & Pay

Officers will normally workMonday through Friday from hrs. (7:30 AM3:30 PM)while school is in session.

This position follows theSpartanburg School District 6 school and holiday calendar. When school is closed for holidays breaks teacher workdays or other scheduled closures officers will not report unless otherwise directed.

Officers are paid for actual hours worked. This is not a guaranteed 40-hour-per-week year-round position.Hours will vary based on the Districts school calendar early dismissals scheduled closures and other changes to the school schedule.

You will have:

• High School Diploma or Equivalency
• Valid Drivers License and Reliable Transportation
• Ability to pass a background and drug screening
• Ability to work all shifts
• Ability to understand interpret and follow the rules instructions and lawful orders
• Ability to cope with stressful work situations
• Physical stamina and dexterity
• Knowledge of security operations and procedures
• Ability to detect safety hazards within the building and communicate with appropriate staff as well as follow all mandated safety requirements.
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to obtain a Guard License
