THE AVAILABILITY OF THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON SUFFICIENT FUNDING AND ENROLLMENTTitle: Ice Rink Operator 1st shiftStatement of DutiesResponsible for performing designated custodial duties normally assigned to the building and any other duties which come up within a Zamboni ice resurfacing machine in a skating rink to prepare surface for skatingPerforms other manual tasks realte to the efficient operation of the skating rink i.e. cleaning equipment and rink area making repairs to bleachers and assisting in crowd controlIce rink custodian is responsible for performing the designated duties normally assigned to a building custodian which are within reason; ability to life carry and place heavy objectsQualifications:High school diploma or its equivalentMust be able to perform the following duties: cleaning dusting sweeping washing buffing and waxing floors washing windows changing light bulbs policing grounds sweeping walkways cutting lawns snow and ice removal caring for custodial equipment operating low pressure heating and ventilating systems ordering custodial supplies heating lighting ventilating and plumbing supplies and making minor repairs to building equipment and any other duties that come upMust have working knowledge of the operations of the ice rinkSalary: Subject to Custodial contract; twelve (12) months forty (40) hour work week
