The Program Manager plays a vital and compassionate oversight role leading Direct Support Professionals in the mission to provide person centered services empowering individuals with developmental disabilities complex medical needs mental illness and/or substance use disorders to achieve fulfilling Program Manager is responsible to supervise services for people with disabilities within one or more specific programs. The Program Manager will supervise services for one to four consumers and may supervise several locations. The Program Manager is responsible for direct care and support services for consumers in their assigned designated(s) staffing financial management physical plant and consumer and community are assigned by the District Manager and must remain flexible to allow for direct supervision of services during all hours and all shifts. Program Managers must be available at all hours to respond in the event of an emergency. Additional non-scheduled hours may be Program Manager is a supervisor and is responsible for the supervision of Lead Direct Support Professional Direct Support Professional and other service personnel assigned. Above all the Program Manager is responsible to protect and promote the health safety and well-being of the people served. The Program Manager is paid hourly and is typically a full time position. Exercise critical thinking abilities paired with basic written and verbal communication skills active listening and basic reading comprehension. Success in this role requires effective interpersonal skills teamwork and the ability to interact effectively with management direct reports families and regulatory agencies. Must apply social perceptiveness and maintain strict confidentiality. Exhibits attention to detail flexibility and adaptability while prioritizing competing responsibilities. Works effectively with diverse populations and provides compassionate care to clients with medical and behavioral support needs including administering medications and treatments safely. Upholds a positive attitude strong work ethic responsibility and self-discipline while bringing creativity empathy multicultural awareness and sustained concentration to all aspects of the FUNCTIONSConsumer ServiceEnsure that all people at sites supervised are regarded with dignity and respect in all open respectful and consistent communication to consumers guardians case managers and District develop and implement consumer programs and health care plans as specified by the Interdisciplinary TeamEvaluate consumer programs on a weekly basis and report to District ManagerDevelop and supervise the implementation and evaluation of Individual Abuse Prevention Plans and Program Abuse Prevention all potential maltreatment matters to the District and coordinate interdisciplinary team meetings of complete accurate current and orderly consumer records. For licensing reviews you must provide complete current and accurate information of all this is requested. Be present during all licensing reviews that the Director and District Manager assigns you to attend. Assist in developing and implementing a plan to correct any deficiencies or confidentiality of all consumer company personnel policies and procedures at the local hire supervise and provide site specific orientation and ongoing training to Assistant Program Manager and Direct Care staffing schedules and fill in for direct care employees as and address employee performance on a regular basis. (6 months after hire and annual thereafter)Communicate performance issues requiring disciplinary action to the District Manager and assist them in formulating a plan of and approve time cards for specific site. Overtime needs to be approved by the District Monthly Staff Meetings to communicate information provide training opportunities address consumer needs and provide an avenue for discussion of concerns and ideas from the as a mentor to other employees of the site and promotes teamwork. Practice the expectations the company has for all employees and be a role RelationsPromotes positive and respectful relationships with consumers families guardians and community representatives and other PlantEvaluate property furnishings vehicle and equipment conditions on an ongoing basis. Assure completion of preventative and ongoing maintenance and home is clean and assists with and assigns cleaning and organizing to maintain a cleaned and safe living environment. Promptly report any areas in need of repair to the District Manager. Take steps to minimize further damage or reduce any safety concerns that the site safety plans and emergency procedures are implemented. Report any safety concerns to the District managementImplement company policy (financial protocols) to manage consumer funds. Reconcile consumer accounts on a monthly financial reports for each consumer of all financial transactions for that consumer for the month then submit to the company ResponsibilitiesRespond immediately in the event of an emergency to protect the health safety and wellbeing of the people the companys mission policies and procedures to meet the goals for the with federal state and local licensing rules and regulations with the operation of the training to enhance personal and professional a consumer-centered philosophy within the areas of other duties as assigned by the Director or District with the District Manager via weekly for completing the entire scheduled shift unless absence is approved by the District Manager and a replacement is found for any time that will be missed that is Direct Care for completing duties/responsibilities listed on the PM weekly other duties as Program Manager you are required to be on call according to the assigned home(s) schedule. During this time you must be within one hour of the homes so should an emergency arise you are able to respond quickly. If you need to switch your designated week for any reason you need to plan ahead and switch weeks with another available on-call supervisor. This change must be approved by the District Manager ahead of time. When on-call you are responsible to cover open shifts as needed or as they may arise for the assigned home(s).
