01-Maintenance Supervisor

• Organizes and oversees the schedules and work of department.
• Ensures that all direct reports follow lock-out/tag-out procedures and safety practices.
• Train and supervises Team Members on correct procedures to be used when making maintenance repairs.
• Monitor all production and plant utilities equipment efficiencies.
• Supervise develop and train Team Members on best maintenance practices.
• Ensure daily preventative maintenance routing sheets are completed.
• And any additional duties that may be assigned by Management.

SKILLS KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:

• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations as it pertains to plant operation and maintenance.
• Ability to understand and operate the systems and equipment used at the facility; and ability to identify issues and determine repairs that are needed.
• Ability to perform and analyze various system checks.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them appropriately; and prepare maintenance schedules.
• Ability to work on a team and cooperate with others; positive attitude.
• Ability to work without supervision; self-motivation and self-direction.
• Ability to pay close attention to details; good analytical problem-solving ability.
• Flexibility to work five days a week with mandatory coverage every other weekend

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:

• High School Diploma or equivalent GED.
• 3-5 years experience in lead or other related positions.
• Proficiency in computer programs such as Microsoft Office including Word Excel PowerPoint and Access.
