About the position

The purpose of the position is to strengthen the overall quality consistency and effectiveness of external reporting within role will provide technical support to the PMER Unit to improve the structure analytical quality data presentation and professional standard of reports written in English ensuring that results achievements lessons learned and impact are clearly reflected.

Duties and responsibilities

Strategic responsibilities

  • Ensure high-quality compliant and evidence-based reporting.
  • Strengthen institutional reporting systems and capacity.
  • Promote strategic use coordination and alignment of reporting.

Some Operational responsibilities

  • Provide direct technical support to donor and partner reporting processes
  • Review reports to ensure clarity consistency and accuracyand adherence to donor and internal URCS standards
  • Ensure reports are based on verified data
  • Support a stronger results focus
  • Support the analysis and use of reporting findings to inform strategic decision-making
  • Develop maintain and roll out reporting guidelines

Some mission specific deliverables

  • Standardized URCS reporting guidelines
  • Implement a structured capacity-building plan
  • A structured approach to capture and integrate lessons learned and success stories
  • Main reporting systemsare mapped and strengthened where needed
  • A handover and exit plan is developed and implemented

Collaboration

  • QCA Department management the PMER Unit and the Reporting Sector
  • Programme project and sectoral departments within URCS
  • Movement Partner National Societies and IFRC
  • Functional and operational supervisors to ensure work priorities

Skills and knowledge

  • University degree in communications linguistics international relations project management humanitarian studies or a related field.
  • 7 year of relevant professional experience in donor reporting proofreading editing project management or humanitarian/development reporting.

Personal experience

  • Strong understanding of donor reporting requirements
  • Demonstrated experience in high-quality English report writing
  • Experience developing reporting standards and guidelines
  • Experience designing and delivering structured training

  • Constructive teamwork collaborate well with others; shares knowledge experience and information and supports others in the pursuit of team goals

Other skills:

  • Excellent command of English both written and spoken. Knowledge of Ukrainian is considered an asset
