The purpose of a Finance Coordinator (Partnerships) is to provide support direction monitoring oversight and guidance on financial aspects of the implementation of programme activities through partner organisations. This position is open for Ukrainian nationals only.

Specificresponsibilities
- ConsolidateandverifyfinancialreportsfundrequestsandbudgetsofPartnersinatimely manner in line with NRC standards as the grant calendar dictates
- MaintainstandardfilingofNRCspartnersrecordsforallfinancialandaccounting deliverables to ensure ease of access during internal/external audit
- Monitorbudgetutilizationof partners
- Participateinthereviewmonitoringandcapacitybuildingofpartners.
- WorkwithNRCspartnerstoensurethatrelevantdonorfinance rulesarefollowedforall grants with periodical reviews of the finance documentation.
- ParticipateinduediligenceassessmentofpotentialnewPartnersandre-assessmentof existing;
- ProvideinputsforcustomisingandtailoringPartnersAgreementson anegotiationstageand follow-up during planning and implementation stages;
- Providesupporttopartnerstoensureconsistentcompliancewiththetermsofsub-grant agreements including financial management and compliance with donor regulations as needed.
- ConductvisitstoPartnersofficeswherenecessaryforperiodicalreviewofrecordsandhave a thorough understanding of activities in the field and recommend corrective actions for improvement.
- UndertheguidanceofFinanceManagertokeeptrackoflessonslearnedandwith partners during the course of implementation.
- Maintainanefficientsystemofinternalcontrolswhichcomplywithfinancialguidelinesto minimize the risk of fraud or misappropriation.
- SupporttheNRCfinanceteaminmonth-endclosureroutinesinclosecoordinationwith NRCs Finance Manager.
- Focalpointforannualexternalorganizationalaudits
- Maintain and update the Partnerships Finance tracker file as per needs
- Teammanagement:5-7 Finance (Technical) Officers and/or Assistants
- OtherdutiesasmaybeassignedbytheFinanceManager.
Qualifications
1. Professional competencies
Generic professional competencies:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in financial management preferably in a humanitarian or development context
- Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Business Administration or a related field. A Masters degree or professional accounting qualification (e.g. CPA ACCA) is preferred
- Experience from working in a senior finance position in a humanitarian/recovery context
- Professional knowledge of accounting and auditing (preferable)
- Previous experience from working in complex and volatile contexts
- Previous experience from working with Implementing Partners in Ukraine is preferred.
- Documented results related to the positions responsibilities
- Previous experience managing staff. Experience working with teams remotely is preferred.
- Knowledge about own leadership skills/profile
- Fluent in English and Ukrainian both written and verbal
