Middle Backend Golang Engineer

We are looking for a Middle Backend Engineer (Golang) to develop reliable scalable and secure backend systems. The role involves building backend services developing APIs working with event-driven architectures and contributing to system reliability maintainability and performance.

While the primary focus is backend development occasional contributions to React-based frontend functionality may be required.

Responsibilities

• Develop maintain and enhance backend services in Golang including RESTful APIs and data contracts.
• Implement and support asynchronous event-driven communication ensuring message reliability error handling and backward compatibility.
• Contribute to the development of distributed systems and microservices.
• Support application performance reliability and resource utilization improvements.
• Participate in technical discussions and contribute to implementation activities.
• Collaborate with team members through code reviews and knowledge sharing activities.
• Write and maintain unit and integration tests for APIs business logic and integrations.
• Develop secure APIs and service integrations following authentication and authorization best practices.
• Build integrations with enterprise platforms such as Salesforce Microsoft Dynamics ServiceNow Genesys Cloud and other third-party systems.
• Support and maintain integrations between internal services and external enterprise platforms.

Qualifications :

• 3 years of experience as a Software Engineer.
• Experience building backend applications and services using Golang.
• Good understanding of concurrency in Golang and asynchronous workflows.
• Experience with event-driven architectures and message handling (e.g. Kafka NATS RabbitMQ or similar technologies).
• Experience with AWS and cloud-native environments.
• Experience developing RESTful APIs and service integrations.
• Understanding of authentication authorization and secure API development principles.
• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
• Experience with Docker Kubernetes.
• Experience with automated testing including unit and integration testing.

• Nice to Have

• Experience with React TypeScript Protobuf Azure or GCP.
• Experience with Keycloak Auth0 Okta or similar IAM solutions.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools (e.g. Grafana Prometheus).
