Responsibilities

EnsureadherencewithNRCpoliciestoolshandbooksandguidelines
Supportlinemanagerinfinancialproceduresandmaintainingregularbudgetmonitoringand performing required team training.
Planandimplementsactivitiesandensuretheimplementationofpolicyandstandards
Support line manager in developing post audit improvement plans and implementing the same in respective for internal and external audits.
Maintainthefillingsystemforallfinancialandaccountingdocumentsandensurefilingofall financial documents according to NRC standards
Preparemonthlyfinancialreportsandsendallrelevantdocuments
Assistlinemanagerdevelopingacapacitybuildingplanforfinancestaffandnon-financestaffon Finance procedures donor regulation.
Facilitate the introduction of new ideas technology methods and approaches to improve thequality of financial processes.
Contributetospecificprotectionrisksandneedsanalysis
Processspendingplanswithprogramteams
UpdatetheMasterBudgetandDonorbudgetsonFC/ASMrequest
Analisethefinancialinformationandpreparepresentationstoprogramteams
Specificresponsibilities
VerifythatallvouchersandsupportingdocumentscomplywithNRCstandardspriortopayment processing.
Manage payments to suppliers contractors and project participants in accordance withNRC policies and procedures.
EnsuretheCashandCorporatecardproceduresarecarriedoutinlinewithNRCsfinancialprocedures.
EnsurethereportsfromtheEAOpartnerswithintheFlexibleminigrant(FMG)modalityfollowingNRCsfinancialprocedures.
EnsuretimelyandaccuratepostingofallcostsintoAgressoonadailyweeklyandmonthly basis.
Ensuretheaccuracyoftheinformationthatenteredinto1CaccountingprogrammefinancedatabasesforreportingtothePensionFund.
Prepareandmaintainbankaccountreconciliations.
Ensuretimelypaymentstothevendorscontractorsandsuppliersetc.followingNRCsfinancialproceduresandcontractpolicies.
Supportofthefinancestaffinmaintaininganaccurateandcompleteaccounting database.
Followuponreconciliationofdeliverablesfromafinancialperspective.
AssisttheFinanceCoordinator andFinanceManagerduring internal andexternal audits.
Responsibleforthemonth-endclosingwithinthestipulatedperiodwithclosecoordination with the Finance Coordinator.
Verifypurchaserequisitions (PRs)andpurchaseorders(POs)for compliance.
SupportBudgetHoldersinpreparingspendingplansdonorbudgetsandmasterbudgetsupon request from the Finance Coordinator.
Prepare Budget vs Actual (BvA) presentations and conduct project utilization assessmentsas requested by FC.
PerformanyadditionaltasksassignedbytheAreaOfficeCoordinatortosupportthefinance function.

Experiencewithstart-upofhumanitarian/recoveryorrelatedprogrammesisanasset
