What awaits you
As a Bank Statement Accountant youll work as part of a team of problem solvers helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. PwC Professional skills and responsibilities for this management level include but are not limited to:
Responsibilities and duties:
- Booking of a daily bank statements transactions in order to be certain that account balance at the end of the day;
- Process all bank statements and related transactions for assigned countries in line with the policies and procedures;
- Monitoring of daily records to report unusual transactions to Supervisor and ensure accurate controls are in place;
- Collection analysis and elaboration of data and information in electronic form as well as checking and verifying it;
- Identify and investigate unreconciled balances solve all queries related to bank statements transactions as they arise;
- Communication with clients supervisors and other members of the team in English;
- Perform activities related to period end closing for supported countries.
Personality requirements and skills:
- good communication skills in English (B2) verbal and written with the ability to draft and deliver clear messages to clients;
- experience in a similar or an accounting position is an advantage;
- experience of working with Excel (advanced);
- some basic bookkeeping skills are vital;
- sense of detail and precision;
- desire to seek new learning opportunities to stay technical and relevant;
- self-Starter capable of deciding what needs to be done without being told;
- ability to think and plan ahead be flexible to cope with tight deadlines to quickly shift gears in a dynamic environment;
- ability to work as part of a team whether with your colleagues or the practice with the ability to share and collaborate creating a positive team spirit.
